VOYCE Translation Service
This clinic has a dedicated iPad station which our staff can use to connect with experienced medical interpreters so we can communicate to patients in over 240 languages and dialects. In under 30 seconds, we can bridge the language barrier between patient and provider with the help of professional interpreters. We can also set up video interactions with the iPad stations, so our staff can communicate with deaf patients who rely on American Sign Language (ASL) throughout the appointment.

Site Manager
Shannon has been working with MIC since 1995. She graduated from NAIT as a medical radiation technologist and then trained as a mammography technologist. In 2009 she received her MRI certification and, since 2012, has been a part of the administrative team as a site manager. Shannon loves working at MIC as the various modalities provide continuous learning and engagement opportunities with patients and staff.
